- Take I80/94 East or I90 East
- Exit on US 421 North (Exit 34B) — US 421 North turns into Franklin Street
- Take US 421/Franklin Street North through Michigan City until it dead ends in front of the public library
- Turn right on 4th Street and drive one block
- Turn left on Pine Street
- Follow past City Hall, over the bridge, to Washington Park
From Southwest Michigan (Grand Rapids area)

- Stay straight and go onto US 35 North (this is also Michigan Boulevard)
