The Washington Park Zoo is dedicated to educating people of all ages about the beauty, wonder, and value of all life on our planet. To do this, we offer a wide variety of programs and activities to allow children and adults to identify closely with animals and plants so that we all have a greater understanding behaviors, diversity and new appreciation for the life around us.
Zoo Camps - Have a Summer Animal Adventures! This is your child's ticket to the wonder and excitement of the world around them. This program utilizes the Washington Park Zoo as a living classroom. Spaces are limited!
Zoo Snooze - Fun at the Zoo doesn't have to end with a day trip....sleep over and enjoy some nighttime magic!
Zoo To You – This flexible 1-hour program offers educational information with a safe, wild touch. Participants have the opportunity to see animals up close as well as touch most of them. There will also be plenty of time throughout the program for questions.
Zoo Experiences – A Zoo visit can be an enriching and stimulating experience for all involved.
