The Wash­ing­ton Park Zoo is ded­i­cated to edu­cat­ing peo­ple of all ages about the beauty, won­der, and value of all life on our planet. To do this, we offer a wide vari­ety of pro­grams and activ­i­ties to allow chil­dren and adults to iden­tify closely with ani­mals and plants so that we all have a greater under­stand­ing behav­iors, diver­sity and new appre­ci­a­tion for the life around us.

Zoo Camps — Have a Sum­mer Ani­mal Adven­tures! This is your child’s ticket to the won­der and excite­ment of the world around them. This pro­gram uti­lizes the Wash­ing­ton Park Zoo as a liv­ing class­room. Spaces are limited!

Zoo Snooze — Fun at the Zoo doesn’t have to end with a day trip.…sleep over and enjoy some night­time magic!

Zoo To You – This flex­i­ble 1-​hour pro­gram offers edu­ca­tional infor­ma­tion with a safe, wild touch. Par­tic­i­pants have the oppor­tu­nity to see ani­mals up close as well as touch most of them. There will also be plenty of time through­out the pro­gram for questions.

Zoo Expe­ri­ences – A Zoo visit can be an enrich­ing and stim­u­lat­ing expe­ri­ence for all involved.
